Serta Royal Sleeper crib mattress giveaway

Serta Mattresses was founded by a group of mattress manufacturers in 1931 and the company has committed to making “The World’s Best Mattresses” ever since. Serta’s commitment to innovation, research and development, safety, the environment, and marketing have helped it grow into one of the most trusted and recognized mattress manufacturers in the world!

Serta manufactures a variety of mattresses for many income ranges and sleeping needs. Whether you’re looking for the Serta Perfect Sleeper, the mattress that started it all and has continued to evolve based on modern manufacturing standards and technological advances, or the eco-friendly HGTV Green Home mattress, which is manufactured of 95% recycled steel and soy infused foam, Serta is sure to meet the needs of any sleeper–young and old!

Serta has even applied its mattress manufacturing expertise to crib mattresses with the Serta Royal Sleeper Crib Mattress. The water resistant cover and side supports guarantee this mattress will remain supported and will resist most spills associated with babies. For the purpose of this review, LaJobi sent me the Royal Sleeper Mattress and also is allowing me to give one away to one of my very lucky readers!

I was really impressed with the quality of the mattress and it fit perfectly into our standard sized crib. One thing I noticed right away were the six circulation vents located on the sides of the mattress. I checked out the Babies R US website and found out that the holes actually allow the mattress fabric to breath, which keeps the mattress fresher over time.

The mattress has an ortho-insulator layer for extra support and a layer of organic cotton to make it extra comfy. And for those of you that have done all your crib mattress research? Stats: 221 continuous coils, fireblocker, water resistant, hypoallergenic, 4 corner supports, and 2 side flex clips.

The LaJobi Serta Royal Sleeper Crib Mattress retails for around $200 and can be purchased from Babies R US.

*Don’t miss the giveaways running ALL MONTH on LaJobi’s blog! Every day they’re giving away one of their favorite things… from furniture, mattresses and bedding sets to gift cards, toys and diaper bags! Runs until Dec 31 so go check it out!

Hayneedle 4-in-1 baby crib giveaway

Hayneedle is a Top 20 online retailer and was originally established in 2002 with an online store for hammocks! They’ve grown a lot since then and acquired the Hayneedle name in 2009 to represent their 250+ stores! You can truly find everything you need at Hayneedle, they’re leaders in lifestyle and home decor products.

And you’ve heard of The Foundary, right?! It’s a flash sale site with products up to 70% off and it was launched in 2010 by Hayneedle!

Lately I’ve been shopping for nursery furniture to prepare for our new baby girl! I suppose we could have used Ryan’s nursery furniture for the baby and switched him to a twin bed, but…. I really really really wanted white furniture for this room.

Hayneedle has plenty of cribs to choose from and we went with the Europa Baby Geneva 4-in-1 Convertible Classic Crib. It’s JPMA certified and meets all ASTM and CPSC standards. Just like Ryan’s crib, it converts to a toddler bed and day bed so it will grow with her–perfect!

My husband put the crib together in no time at all. He said the instructions were clear and the pieces were nicely labeled, but the only difficult part was some tight spaces as it was being assembled that made it hard for the tools to fit to tighten bolts, etc. But he got the job done!

Ryan helped too!

Ryan was so proud of himself for helping put it together that he insisted on saying “cheese” for the camera when I tried to take a picture of the crib, haha. He’s excited for his baby sister to come!

Isn’t she pretty?! Don’t mind my wrinkled dust ruffle… we haven’t unpacked our iron at the new house yet, but I was too anxious to wait so I put it on anyway! :) Also, I must note that the crib bumpers are currently on the crib only for looks–when the baby arrives, we’ll remove them (they aren’t safe)! We also still need a crib mattress…. this crib has 3 positions for mattress height and we currently have it at the highest.

Here’s another picture pre-bedding so you can see the crib a bit better. I picked this crib because I love the simplicity of it–the straight lines and the detailing in the corner columns. So pretty! I can’t wait to paint the walls and have the whole room finished… less than 3 months left! EEK!

This crib also has a cute matching changing table! Overall, the crib is very sturdy and well-made. The sides are all stationary (no drop-downs) and we are very happy with it!

Don’t forget to find Hayneedle on facebook and twitter.

GIVEAWAY: Hayneedle is giving one lucky reader this same Europa Baby Geneva 4-in-1 crib! (Does not include a mattress or changing table–crib only!) Please use the form below to enter.
