So we’ve all seen the “BPA free” signs on baby products, but did you know that BornFree is the world’s leading manufacturer of BPA free baby products? BornFree was founded in 2006 by a group of three fathers that were concerned about the health of their infants, specifically about the chemicals that their children were being exposed to in plastic feeding bottles and other infant products. The company is concerned with safety, but also has a focus on innovation. Ex: their unique venting systems for bottles which prevents colic and ear infections!
BornFree bottles come in plastic or glass… we have used the glass bottles with Ryan and have had several drops but have never broken a glass bottle thanks to the soft protective covering. The active flow system invented by BornFree helps to prevent colic, which is wonderful! As the baby sucks, milk starts to flow freely through the nipple thanks to air vents in the neck of the bottle, which closely resembles the breastfeeding process.

In addition to nipples and bottles, BornFree also markets “spouts” to turn your same spill-proof, colic-free bottles into sippy cups! We had a little trouble getting Ryan to use a sippy cup, but we have a yellow, BornFree sippy cup that he looooves. It’s the only one we can get him to drink out of–it’s great to be able to hand it to him with some juice or whole milk and not worry about spills, too! Also, it feels good to watch how proud he is of himself to be able to take care of one of his needs on his own
BornFree also sells cool looking pacifiers, a teething gum brush (great for baby’s health), a super convenient microwave sterilizer and other products (all BPA free!). I am so happy to be able to share some of these great BornFree products with you.
