But my absolute favorite?! The product I picked out for review: Jumbo Monkey Mat. This is one of my favorite products of all time. My son loves it, but… to be honest… I steal it from him. A lot. It’s just so soft and cozy and… it’s a monkey! That just makes it fun!

We put it on the ground for play time and to read books, etc. I wish I had a video of Ryan the first time I brought this out and put it on the floor. He was SO excited and ran around the mat in circles, put his head on the monkey head pillow, rolled around… it was awesome.

When we aren’t using it on the floor, it makes the perfect twin-sized (or toddler bed) blanket! Ryan’s room is safari/jungle animal themed so this fits in wonderfully. Did I mention how soft it is?

The pillow is nice and large–plenty of space for me to lay on it with Ryan. The blanket measures 71″ long by 53″ wide and the pillow is 28″ long and 20″ wide.

Did you notice that the mat/blanket has 4 monkey feet, 1 at each corner, and a tail?! Ryan loves to play with all the parts and says them by name.

This monkey mat costs $69.98 and, in my opinion, is worth every penny. It’s thick and soft, cozy and comfy, well-made and will last a long time. I wrap Ryan in it and use it for play time… it’s much more special than just a regular blanket… it’s a monkey!
