The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Bath Tub giveaway

The First Years is a household name when it comes to products for your children. They have a complete line of feeding, care, travel, nursery, and play products… everything to help you reach each milestone and get ready for those “first years!”

I was excited to be sent the Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub with Sling to review. We never had a bath tub like this for Ryan. I’m not really sure why… I had one of those bucket-like tubs, which I found really hard to use in the early days. With Rebecca, we had no tub when she was born–I’ve just been getting in our bath tub with her. That hasn’t been the most convenient.

This bath tub was voted best infant bath tub by babble.com! It fits safely in single and double sinks–we have a double. From left to right in the photos above, you can see that it has a removable sling for newborns, a slanted and padded backrest for infants, and a seat on the other side for toddlers to sit up.

The pads are mildew resistant, which is great because they stay a little damp, of course, after a bath. The mesh sling for newborns has a nice padded headrest, it’s form-fitting to hold your baby safely, and has adjustable straps depending on your baby’s size and how low (or high) you want them resting. It’s also machine washable and dryable! The tub has a handy compartment on one side to hold your baby shampoo and washcloths, too.

You can see in the picture above how easily it rests in our double sink. The only thing that’s tough about our particular sink is that you can’t move the faucet once the bath tub is there, so that took some getting used to.

Rebecca is just chillin’ in her sling, relaxing in the warm water–she LOVES bath time! She cries when I take her out of the tub, lol. And of course big brother likes to help!

The tub has a super handy plug in the bottom to drain the water when you’re done. I like to drain the soapy water while she’s still in there while kind of refilling the tub or spraying her. (Spraying her? Sounds like I’m washing a dog. Haha, you know what I mean!)

You can find this tub at Walmart, BabiesRUs.com, and select Target stores for $19.99.
