Charlie Banana cloth diaper giveaway

Charlie Banana is a fun cloth diaper company that was inspired by the creator’s two children–their son Zachary and daughter Charlie …. or Charlie Banana, as Zachary calls her Awww. Straight from their own website:

We wanted products that make you feel good on so many different levels.

Not only can you find cloth diapers at Charlie Banana, but also wipes, tote bags, laundry bags, changing and mattress pads, training pants and underwear, swim diapers, leg warmers, and feminine product! They have a whole line of great eco-friendly items.

For my review, I was sent two cloth diapers and some of their wipes.

First, the colors are beautiful. I love the black one! I got a Turquoise one too that is gorgeous and bright, but the black is one of my favorites just because I don’t have any others near this color!

These are one-size pocket diapers. The pocket is at the front and has a nice large opening to get your insert in and a flap to keep it covered. A feature I really like are the adjustable elastic bands around the legs:

This helps you tighten (or loosen) the elastic around the legs so it fits more body types… chunky thighs or chicken legs! Then around the waist are snaps–2 rows for waist and leg adjustment.

(Isn’t that color gorgeous?!) The diapers are super soft and we’ve never had any leaking problems–these are definitely two of my favorite diapers! They come in a lot more colors (Classic colors and the 2010 collection) and even some really cute prints!

FYI, these diapers even hold up when a feisty toddler wrestles a cat to the ground

We really like the wipes, too. I hate using really thick wipes–they’re too hard to get wet enough and they do a terrible job at picking up a mess. The Charlie Banana wipes are perfect–they’re really soft, but they’re thin. You can get them with a blue logo or a pink logo… or get both and use one set for diaper changes and one set for bath time! That’s what we do

The wipes are organic cotton and are perfume, chlorine and chemical free. Safe for baby’s bum You can get single or double layer wipes and they have many uses besides diaper changes!
