Applecheeks cloth diaper giveaway!

I love the intro on the Applecheeks cloth diapers page: “Throw away your preconceived notions. Ignore your skeptical peers. These are NOT your grandmother’s cloth diapers… This is a paradigm shift. Thought you knew what reusable diapering was all about? Think again.” Awesome. And so true! When I announced to friends and family that we were switching to cloth, the faces scrunched, the noses turned up, the sounds “ewww,” “uhhhh,” and “whhyyyyy” escaped their lips. Once I showed them what cloth diapers are like these days? They’re in love too.

There are a few things that make Applecheeks stand out from the crowd:

1. A 2-size diaper system. Size 1 fits from 7 to 20 lb and Size 2 fits from 18 to 40 lb.

2. An envelope style pocket. You stuff the insert inside just like a pocket diaper, but there’s no need to unstuff!!!! YEA! No touching the dirty insert before washing… the insert works its way out in the washer all by itself. Ahhhhh-mazing. This is my favorite thing about them.

3. Customer service. You may think it’s not that important until you deal with Applecheeks. They absolutely have a WAHM-customer-service mentality. They’re wonderful!

Not to mention, they also have awesome colors, elastic in the front, back and around the legs, 2 rows of snaps, and wide tabs to prevent drooping. So? How did they do on Ryan’s bum?

Great! We washed before wearing and had no problems with leaks. They don’t work for us overnight though.. Ryan’s a heavy wetter! But the diaper fit wonderfully with the 2 rows of snaps and elastic at the back and around the legs–see it in the picture? It makes it look a little ruffly! Cute! This is the Mrs. Robinson color, but check out the others. I really want a St. Lucia! It’s a gorgeous blue color and that’s also where we honeymooned so it’d be kind of cool Applecheeks also sells swim diapers, nursing pads, storage sacs, inserts and liners, waist extenders, laundry items and NEW flushable liners!
