Why should you make your own baby food?
~You can use organic foods
~Less waste! No jars, labels, metal lids.
~Less energy. No huge factory required!
~Buy local and use your blender. Easy!
~Healthy and safe! No preservatives, additives or chemicals!
How can you get started? With the Fresh Baby So Easy Baby Food Kit!!! It really is “so easy”
This starter kit has everything you need: a cookbook, 2 freezer trays, nutrition tips card, and a how-to DVD! These things tell you all about what foods to introduce at what ages, what’s safe and what’s not, foods that pair well together, even what spices you can add to give your babe a new taste! There’s even information on how to pick out the right produce at the store and there are over 40 recipes in the cookbook! The food trays are perfect 1-ounce servings (which you could also use for breastmilk) and are dishwasher safe and come with lids!
The great thing about this kit is that it teaches you how to make baby food in 30 minutes per week. I think some people are scared away from making their own baby food because of all the time they think it may take. It’s easy!! Especially when you can make a whole bunch at once (30 minutes!) and freeze it for later.
We don’t use the freezer trays a whole lot anymore because Ryan mainly gets whole food (baby led weaning). But all the info in the cookbook and DVD is still very useful! Oh, but the freezer trays are still great for breastmilk! They’re BPA- and phthalate-free, so no worries!
You can buy the kit for $37.95, or WIN HERE! One lucky reader is going to win their own Fresh Baby Starter Kit with everything mentioned here!
